The Stavros Niarchos Foundation Public Humanities Initiative (SNFPHI) Summer Grants in Public Humanities

May 19, 2020

These grants support Columbia undergraduates, graduate students, and recent MA and PhD recipients interested in pursuing an independent public humanities project in Hellenic Studies or collaborating with a current SNFPHI project underway in Greece. The projects will be conducted remotely in June and July. We are particularly encouraging applications from those with an interest in oral history, curatorial studies, digital humanities, visual anthropology, film, or sound art. Three grants of $1500 will be awarded to undergraduate students and three grants of $2000 to graduate students or recent MA and PhD recipients. One of the latter three grants is designated for a current student or graduate of the Oral History MA program, while the other two grants are open to students from any department or program.
