Sapfo Katopodi is a PhD student in The Theatre and Performance Program. She holds a B.A. in Anglophone Literature and an M.A in Comparative Literature from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. Her research focuses on modern and postmodern adaptations and re-writings of Ancient Greek Tragedy on the American Stage. Her work has been published in Gramma: Journal of Theory and Criticism.
She is also a poet and a screenwriter. Originally from Athens, Greece she is currently based in New York.
